Woot Woot! Here’s another home run from Sarah, the Digital Designer at Crate and Barrel. I’m obsessed! This week it’s the design for my son’s bedroom that has me swooning. If you missed it last week we looked at the design for my daughter’s room.
Here’s a top view of the room.
Can you believe this used to be a kitchen? Craaazy! I didn’t want to put a lot of stuff in his room since he will mostly play in the family area with everyone. At only two he doesn’t require “space” yet.
This bed is the scene stealer in this design.
I can’t get enough of this Tiny House bed. It’s the major focal point for the room. Also, if you look on the wall there’s a giant ocean mural I think baby boy would adore. It’s still ocean themed but not overly so.
Loving this cozy reading nook.
Similar to my conversations about Lady Pep’s room I didn’t have too many requests. The reading nook was one ask and something ocean themed was the other.
I’m really into the little details in this room and I’m looking forward to seeing it put together in the house.
My experience with their design services has just been top notch. Especially with this design where I was able to ask a lot of questions and get timely responses. Highly recommend!
When you are designing a room what do you start with? Paint? Furnishings? Decor?
