Remember when I wrote about my indecision? It persists and it has caught up with me. Our contractor is ready to start putting the bathroom back together and at the risk of stalling the whole project I need to make some decisions STAT!
So I’m taking a bit of a shortcut. Lowe’s has a lovely feature where when you look at a product it suggests other items to help complete the look.
That’s what I’m doing with the bathroom. Obviously this isn’t going to be high on design or full of show-stopping designer details but it is going to be pretty (hopefully?), functional and on budget (mostly?).
My search started with a vanity. The search parameters were simple: available for pickup and 30 inches wide.
Out of the choices that came up the vanity pictured below was my favorite. It also had good reviews.
From there Lowe’s suggested these wood like porcelain tiles.
Since the hubs was interested in these previously I was immediately sold. It’s different from what we have in the downstairs bathroom but the hubs thought it would be a cool detail so off I ran.
Next, I was given choices for a vanity light and a medicine cabinet. In the cart! In the cart!
So now we’re looking at a grayish blue bathroom for the upstairs. Paint color is going to be this sweet thang.
So what do you think? Is this color combo going to work? What kind of shortcuts do you use when decisions have to be made?
