Why Rockets of Awesome?
What makes Rockets of Awesome different from other subscription boxes is that they are a clothing label as opposed to sourcing clothes from other brands. This adds a cool exclusive factor.
Kudos to them! Their advertising definitely works! I was seduced by an Instagram ad. They got me!
I consequently hopped on to their website and started the style quiz but stopped halfway through. “Wouldn’t it be cool if Lady Pep filled this out herself!” I didn’t do one for Master Ace because he was a wee youngin and couldn’t do the quiz himself. Umm. . .not really. It was because they didn’t have baby sizes.
How it works
It’s pretty simple. First you start by choosing sizes. I was happy to see that they give you height and weight info for each size.
Next, you can choose colors that you prefer. This section was eye opening because apparently I didn’t know that she liked red.
What’s nice is they ask what won’t your child wear.
Now to choose patterns.
Then you get to choose a style.
See, super easy! I also really like that they also ask what are no-gos for your child. Like if you have a child who won’t wear sequins or won’t wear jeans. Stuff like that.

Since Rockets of Awesome is more like a clothing label this allows you the opportunity to buy one off items if you want.
For example, Lady Pep had received this super cute emoji hoodie in her fall box but it got ruined by an exploded applesauce. My fault. I was able to go on the website and remedy my mistake. Of course you have to pay the full price as opposed to the discounted price from the box but pricing is still pretty competitive with other brands.
The other really cool thing is the sneak peek. We get a chance to review the items in the box and switch out things she doesn’t like. It takes the surprise out of it but she’s still pretty excited when the box shows up.

Another bonus is how well everything coordinates. My daughter can put together some pretty cool outfits.
Overall, I really like Rockets of Awesome. I’m impressed with the quality of the pieces and everything is so fun. I love how easy it is to include my daughter in the process. It’s a no-stress all fun endeavor.
